general objectives of NBU, the Languages and Translation Department seeks to achieve its own objectives as
1- Familiarizing the
students with the English language and literature in its different stages to date.
2- Studying the
morphology and basics of English language through studying linguistics in general and confirming the
relationship between language and practice.
3- Training the students
on how to acquire the necessary linguistic skills with the purpose of practicing language correctly and
opening for them the field of gaining knowledge and scientific research.
4- Training male and
female students on the different computer applications (in language, linguistics and European literatures),
which is considered to be one of the pillars upon which the modern world is built.
5- Studying the
principles and basics of French language as a foreign European language.
